Rust in bottom corners of rear window!!

Hi guys

Just wanted to know how to fix this rust issue I have with my 300ZX.
I've started to notice bubbling under the black paintwork at the bottom two corners
of the rear screen. When it rains water tends to pool in these corners which is what
must lead to the problem I now have.

I spoke to a bodywork specialist from bodycare who turned out not to be much of a specialist. He in turn called his 'mate' who deals with issues like these and started
probing and messing with the plastic/rubber trim that holds the window in place .
He said there would be problems finding a replacement for the trim as the window would need to be taken out in order to fix the rust issue.

What shoud I do?

Im sure Mr F can sort you needed trim parts :D and if not he could most likely put you in touch with somebody !

Rear window trim parts are currently readily available. Use a bodyshop that has a reliable screen man to get the old one out - new is expensive if they have an accident. If the rust is under the screen seal, then the screen will have to come out for a proper repair...:(

Thanks to ya both for that info. I don't think I'll bother with my local bodyshop. Hopefully the rust has not progressed that far but will have to see. Will look around for a decent shop that can do the work for me.
