Reproduction luggage straps?

Hi everyone,

Curious if anyone knows if you can buy reproduction luggage straps, or something very similar. Like many, i have old brittle straps which could do with upgrading or binned.

Mine had lain in the spare wheel well and were not looking too good. They did respond to a good clean up though.

That is worth a shot. I’ve not checked yet to see if I have all the parts. I have a feeling i have the straps from the rear, but not those from behind the seats. Good shout though, as that might just work - use something on them to soften up the fabric which all seemed pretty brittle. Thank you.

The brittleness is possibly just where it's been damp and grimey and then dried out.
Worst case, it must be do-able to buy some suitable webbing and knock up (or have made) some stainless steel hardware.
