Question about Z31 bonnet emblem

Hi,

(apologies for previous want post in the wrong place.. :))

I found that there are two part numbers for these emblems (84-87 & 87-89)

I can see on the courtesy parts website that the first one has a black background but there is no picture for the second one.

Can anyone please confirm if Nissan did a bonnet emblem for the Z31 with a red background.

LOL... come on guys.... surely some of you out there own Z31's and have some some time...

any sign at all of a red background front emblem?

thanks... I guess that makes it black for the whole time...

I've got no Idea what is making this guy i know think that at some point it was read!

Do you think that at any point maybe the US or JDM cars had red ones?

and what is with the two different part numbers? LOL... a touch misleading...

USA microfiche has only the same two part numbers for the early and late versions - both are black background. It would seem that even the 50th Anniversary special didn't have a different front emblem (not strictly a bonnet emblem as it is on the front fascia ahead of the bonnet).

The only red front emblem that I've seen is the JDM Z32 option - maybe he wants one of those?

I have now confirmed that the Japanese Z31 microfiche only lists the same two numbers.
