Prototype Bulkhead Panel

Managed to get some undercoat on the Bulkhead Panel today, looks pretty good when you compare it to the original, take a look at the photos

I see the full bulkhead kit for 73-78 cars is on eBay now. Good work Woody and a fair price I think:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Datsun-24...db13ce4&pid=100033&rk=1&rkt=8&sd=292123354977

Question: what about earlier cars? My new project is a 1972. The vacuum booster/master cylinder panel is different, but is the main bulkhead panel and inner panel essentially the same? Would you be able to produce a 70-72 version? Because at some point in the next few months, I'm a definite buyer!

Agreed. Seems a fair price, I think he did say he can do the other booster panel.

Is there a sort of mini jig you could sell with the panel to line it up properly, something that bolts to the strut tops etc?

That is a very fair price!

Now all we need is a RHD dash maker and we're sorted! Woody!?

I know a good fibreglass maker, but after chatting with him he would need a RHD dash to sacrifice to make the moulds and it would take a few dozen hours. Once the moulds done it would be possible to knock out a RHD dash in a couple of hours plus painting.

Hi all
Just want to let any of you guys know that the pre 73 Bulkhead panels are slightly different as is the support panel, if you want one of these kits I can make one for you, two or three weeks notice will do the job.
The panel kit on ebay has been changed to a 2 panel instead of a 3 panel kit due to the charges from ebay and papal but if any club members decide to buy one they will receive the 3 panel kit

I know PMAC / MrF used to supply them so someone out there has a good mould. Not sure if they retired or not.

If its a conversion, I do give a couple of measurements from inner wings and chassis and lower scuttle panel, having a RHD dash and pedal box is helpful for dummy building .
I cant help you with a dash but I can convert a LHD pedal box to fit RHD as long as its a 2 pedal box, autos need to have a clutch pedal made, not cheep

Hi Woody, are you still producing these? My RHD conversion has come around sooner than originally planned so could do with getting one of these on order
