Plastic 'Chrome' trim insert

I looked at this for my windscreen but decided against it because the corner pieces are right angled whereas the ones on my car are slightly less that 90 degrees. Thought it would look wrong and not sure my corners would fit over the new insert.

I assumed as it was plastic it just laid into the groove more or less in a straight line as the material would only flex easily in one plane as you straighten out the coil to use.
