I'm more interested in the lamborghini bodykits that he seems to have a link to?
What do 2+2’s go for? 8k?
You'll have to renew your Membership first Don.
Go to 'THE CLUB' and then 'Join today'.
£8k? Have a laugh.....
What do you think? Based on sales, 10?
Unrestored but roadworthy to some extent examples are advertised for £12k upwards without mot’s!
And 260z 2seaters are going for anywhere from £30k upwards.
And mine is a genuine low mileage car with full history right up to and including sales reciept on date of original purchase.
It’s nothing against your car, just based on sold prices. You can’t compare to a 2 seater. Where has a 260z gone for over £30k?
Hi Don, don't worry about the value until you have finished it and then get a valuation from the club via Moggy. I sent him as much info as possible on mine and he came back with the a valuation which is bang on what I had expected at £5k. I did it to get an agreed valuation for insurance, and it's the insurance company that need to agree to the value. Lots of 280zx cars get advertised at silly money, but it is the actual selling price that counts. Anyway, your not going to sell yours anytime soon, so the value will go up over time anyway. Car is looking good, by the way!
I will get a valuation from moggy for the insurance when done.
This is another one of *those* quotes. It's interesting how people are happy to let them pass without comment, as though they are true.
If this car came up for sale from an anonymous owner it would be absolutely slaughtered on here. Picked to pieces without mercy. Quite rightly so too, I think. Not something you would want friends or family to buy into unwittingly.
