My new z has race bucket seats fitted but too much work to get in them. Anyone have suggestions.
I am looking at these.

Seats from a Vauxhall gte mk 1 will go straight in if you can find some ,similar to those from an escort rs turbo but they are a tad to wide

I actually really have ever seen non-Z seats that look right in our cars - but this looks like they were made for the car!!
I'm 5' 7'' and there is 2x1 box section steel on each mounting point for the bracket adaptor. I sit a bit higher now which is good for me but a taller person might need to rethink the adaptor. When I did this previously with S2000 seats I used a flat 3mm steel plate.

Did the S2K seats seem quite big in there? I do love those seats but I wonder how suited to the car they look?

S2K seats were a tight fit with a flat adaptor. Very close to the roof. Really comfortable though and did look OK.

civic or Prelude seats can be adapted to stock rails . Cutting and welding custom mounts. Yrs around 2000.

I'm still using the original seats in my 240, was going to follow @Huw 's referb to get the cushioning renewed and heated too.

Are the seats you're replacing just too old?
