Thanks gents for the birthday wishes.
I became a dad again 2 years ago and time has been scarce so my car has been laid up. This year I have fitted hilux brakes and hif6 carbs which I've modified the barrels to improve their performance. (should flow as well as 40 webers?).
The car is still tidy although one or two marks have come up in the paint.
The plan is to tax and test it this year once the carbs are set up.
It could be for sale if some one offered the right money but I did have quite a few tyre kickers and throttle twisters and got put off.

Top Bloke..... John good to hear you're working on the car! & also that
you're getting it back on the road. It's a lovely 260Z 2 seater,& anyone
looking for a Z (Summer's Here!) should check it out.
Unfortunate about the tyre kicker's, dreamer's who don't have
two pennies to rub together! there are decent folk out there & someone
out there will come along & get a damned good 260Z.
