It won't hurt 'cos non-members still can't view and may even push them just that little bit further to bother joining.
For us members, it'd just be a handy reminder and a quick click will bring us straight here !

I can’t see the reason for only members can see the ads as I would’ve thought it would benefit both sides of the fence as not everyone is after the same bits and visa versa

This has been gone over before and yes, I believe club members have more to lose by a wanted section not being public. If a club member doesn't want to offer a part to forum members and only to club members - said club member just doesn't reply to a forum members' request for parts.
Simple - no ?

Parts for sale is a subject more sensitive but 'wanted'......out in the open please for everyones' benefit.
