[SOLVED] KYB 260z cartridges

Hello guys,
I just got some kyb cartridges for my 260z they fit into the old strut but poke out just a little too far do I can't fasten them in has anyone seen this before or knows a fix for it?

Craig, how much poking out are we talking about? can't get the top started, or it won't go on the last few threads?
 
Did you get the strut gland nuts with the kyb shocks as the gland nuts differ depending on what type of shock insert
 
Check to see if any spacers from previous cartridges are stuck in the bottom of the tube. These should just fit without problem. Check the KYB part number on the casing just in case of packaging error - should be 361002.
 
human error, my friend fitting the units didnt realise there was a new top nut lol needless to say i called him a silly sod but all is well.
