You are just showing off now - GT3 under the cover?Few small wins over the last few weeks. Managed to get quite a few small bits off of a few members here for interior trim etc. still need a good set of interior panels if anyone has any? Most importantly the rear quarters and side window pieces as I have the others..!
Managed to get a genuine set of fender mirrors and fitted them too. (Thanks @Albrecht for dimensions and some parts..!)

HiExcellent work on the sound deadening; ironically, I finally stumbled across the paper templates I made yesterday - rolled up under a layer of dust in my garage rafters!

What a great dilema. Sell the GT3 - no good on modern roads. Keep the Chevell (you love that). Datsun - unfinished projects are normally a buyers market.Ok so this is a bit of a feeler.
I haven’t had chance to do much more to this other than fitting some more interior panels and the front grill. Bottom end is also built ready for the head… just an FYI
I am looking to move and the property we have seen doesn’t have the garage space and it’s well out of my budget to be frank so somethings have to give.
Would anyone be interested in purchasing this? Needs brake and fuel lines, engine finishing and dropping in. Could come with the jenveys etc if desired.
Given the cost getting a nice shell like this and the cost of the parts dont expect it to be cheap but feel free to pm me genuine offers. I’ll create a for sale thread over the next couple of days.
Im also going to list the Chevelle and GT3 and whichever 2 sell first I’ll be keeping one.
I disagree on the GT3, as equally comfortable a ride as Z on coilovers and absolutely fantastic in every possible area. Nothing can compete! It’s such a special car. I’d be sad to see any of them go but sadly cars are starting to take second place nowadays… but the datsun and finish it RobWhat a great dilema. Sell the GT3 - no good on modern roads. It's called getting old(er) and shifting priorities ... sadly!
(Buy it Rob!)
You're looking at the wrong houses then. Switch the bedroom number for the garage number............................“The property we have seen doesn’t have the garage space …”
I was mainly thinking about the overcrowded roads, speeds limits and cameras. But the potholes are really bad too. Very dangerous on my motorbikes and cycle. I don't want another classic car for a few reasons.I disagree on the GT3, as equally comfortable a ride as Z on coilovers and absolutely fantastic in every possible area. Nothing can compete!
