Does anyone know how much clearance L series head gaskets have around the rear water gallery?
My L28 block is away getting skimmed, they've take 0.18mm off, but they're reporting there's a mark on the surface about 0.2 mm deep from the water gallery backwards (getting shallower as it goes).
So I'm wondering if I need to have it skimmed out, or not - if the mark is within the region of the hole in the gasket, then no need for more skimming.
anyone know? or have a gasket and block handy to check?
