Cv half shafts

Hi all, does anyone have any info on where I can get a pair of cv half shafts, this side of the pond, that will fit into an R180 diff and replace the UJ half shafts with minimal fuss? Going to spa next weekend on a wing and a prayer, or with some new half shafts. Drivers side has way too much play.

Would prefer to switch to the cv version if I can.

Don't you have a spare standard shaft?

I would think someone who is going from either UK or the continent will have one.

I gave my spares away with my old car.

The problem with the CV type is that they are not a direct 'bolt-on' fitment.

Thanks for the info rob. Guess I'm going to have to either get std UJ shafts for now and put the cv shafts on the much later wish list.

A refurb' pair would be nice, at least the figment is easy enough to do at the track.

Hi James, I have one that I used to carry as a spare that you can borrow. It has one new UJ and the other is good.

Just need to work out how to get it to you
