Hi I am looking to replace/upgrade my Datsun 280ZX (1979) brake system - everything apart from brake lines. I am having trouble sourcing parts in Australia. Can anyone assist - am particularly interested in Eden's upgrade kit, however need both front and rear, plus master cylinder and hoses.

The limiting factor for a 79 280zx brake upgrade is the rear calliper replacement options. The only viable off the shelf option is a kit sold by Techno Toy Tuning, only issue with it is you will not be able to run 14inch rims with the upgrade. 79 to 81 cars had different rear calipers to later models, there is just not the off the shelf options available. You would need to get custom carries made to run different calipers. Even later calipers don’t fit a 79 car.
Fronts you can get a big brake upgrade kit and a micro upgrade kit from the same place. Micro kit allows you to run 14” rims.
