Black and White Number Plates

I drive my zeds a lot and have never had any issues with plod. All my cars have 63mm high lettering with the US size rear and Small long fronts. I've even used the original US front plate and twice the police have mentioned that I really should change it but agreed it looked cool on the car. My opinion is: drive sensible and be polite and courteous towards the police and they treat you fairly. Act like a dick and you will get treated accordingly.

So the original US plate with the US registration on, and no UK plate at all on the front?! That's interesting

Btw, anyone got a suggestion for an easy but also permanent way of affixing a front plate? I have one of the aftermarket front bumpers from Vietnam so no existing brackets for the plate. Was thinking something along the lines of a grill mount, as I'll have a nice big full-height grill once that's fitted. Unless that wouldn't be visible enough with the bumper fitted

I bought this plate a few years back on eBay.



It's very fitting for my car which is of '71 Californian origin. I've only ever displayed it in the garage or on the dash, Never considered driving around with it on the car!
