When the 350z sells I'll be looking for a cheapish shed to get me around day to day.

I will be wanting back seats, nothing too compact, maybe an auto (the other half needs to pass her test; she has failed eight times so far and I think her best chance is a car with less things to think about, lol) and up to £2k.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I thought a three series BMW might suit, and I quite like the look of the Mk2 Rav4. Anything else I should consider?

For a cheap runabout, our diesel Megane Scenic is fantastic!

Ok, it's nothing special to look at, and a 1.5 naturally aspirated diesel isn't invigorating, but at 50mph it'll do over 65mpg which is fantastic!!
