Quite a bit of elbow work involved, but damn it looks good! :D

So who is going to try it on the rustiest of rusty motors? ;)

I bet it doesn't look so good up close :p Can't believe he used a roller! lol

Also he did my favourite, left all the glass in and masked around it, mmm nice!

Thats what I thought, but he wet sanded a bajillion times, he mentioned some crazing/cracking which he sanded out and painted over.

Anyway, for $50, if you have the time to spare seems like a cheap way to paint your motor.

I wonder how long it cures rust for? I've seen some of these rust things that make the rust really brittle, so if he ever has a knock it'd burst like fibreglass! :D

:D

There is no cure for rust, only remove it :)

$50 though like you said you can't argue. Although in the time he took he could have gotten a job and been half way to paying for a proper one hehe. Still impressive to see none the less!

I hand painted my Vauxhall Viva with woolworth coverplus gloss outside one summers afternoon, looked great! Then we had a thunder storm before it had chance to dry. Then I had that dimpled effect, looked like the surface of the moon. Basicially dont trust the Britsh Weather.
Cheers Al
