Hiya Mark, Wye aye matey yes Davey Gamlin!. I bought his old Silvia years ago. The one he had with eight injectors! Still keep in touch but hes into Alfa's atm

Right after a serious thought about whether my skills can handle the major repairs on this, I've decided its too much for me to do. I did start stripping it ie all the interior out but found that most of the outter part of the floor were it meets the inner sills are shot, including the inner sills. This is a major structural part and feel it would not be the same again.
As a result I am now going to break it for spares and send the shell to the scrap man. I want the engine and hubs etc which I have to get out but everything else is there. Anyone need anything from a pre facelift ?

I've been stripping this all day today and will pick up the engine crane in the morning to take out the engine. I now have an 87 facelift model which has 171k so will probably swop the engines over.
