240Z rebuild

Watched part II last night - all about the Z ... much more enjoyable! Nose cone - not heard a headlamp bucket called that before!

And sometimes called 'sugar scoop'.

Would you reuse that 'nose cone' when you can get a FG one for peanuts? If it was an historic car and had history e.g. hit a tree with that front-end when doing the Monte Carlo Rally it might be justified but ....

Oh well I like the guy and tbh if I had a wife like that who spoke about Datsun history I'd be a happy chap too (why worry about a few dents in the bonnet ;-) ).

I do agree, but I also like that he is willing to spend a bit of time fixing the (hopefully) original bits. He would rather fix it than buy it, hence why its called Home Built

Still watching these and they're excellent. He doesn't pretend to be a pro. Explains things well and is obviously competent enough to get some great results.

The Fun Facts make me cringe so I don't watch the last bit, but good on him for getting her involved with her own little section.

Thank you for posting these. I really enjoy them on my commute!

I’ve really followed this guy and I’ve got to be honest I’m really impressed with the way he tackles his challenges, keeps up the pace and motivation. He clearly had the right skills for the job even though I don’t always agree with his choices.
