I've got a 73 240 relatively all stock. About a year ago my brake booster went out so I threw a new one on. since then I've tried 2 new boosters and yesterday my 4th master cylinder. Before the problem was when I pushed the brake pedal it would go straight to the floor then I could feel a sort of pop in the pedal, the pedal would raise back up and have good resistance. It slowly dwindled to not returning at all so the pedal had no resistance. A little scary driving without any pedal. On top of new boosters and masters I've bled the brakes countless times. Yesterday I drove home with the booster disconnected. The pedal for once had good feel but it was terribly hard to push of c urse. Any ideas? I've run out and I think I've replaced just about every piece of braking hardware besides the proportioning valve.
