I'm sure it's on the site somewhere anyway going thro the history of my car I found it had been serviced by Z car garage in San Jose and they have OS Giken 24-valve L series 240Z car. I think it makes an appearance on JDM Legends show as well. https://www.zcarblog.com/ need to scroll thro the blog to get any real info, forums are way better. We have an office near there I might see if they take annoying Brit drop-ins next time I'm there

Technically Interesting: OS Giken 16 & 24-Valve Nissan L-Series

It's just very expensive, looks like my sons Lego technic getting the drive to the cams from the crank

Yup! One of those first money no object lottery win spend ups for me! :p

Yep, TC24-B1Z - discussed many times previously here and every other Z site basically! Stratospherically expensive, super cool. A resurrection of the TC24-B1 head, which was out of production for many years before OSG brought it back with a few tweaks. Run on various cars in Japan long before Z Car Garage did theirs. E.g. the old vids on YouTube of the Office Tomitaku Z:

I couldn't find it on here with the search, as a new member trying to learn what is possible is the reason for being on a forum in the first place, there is always going to be reposts :) I did see something about an RB head on an L block only, I'm surprised there was not more comments about that

Loved following the Datsunworks thread on hybridz about the ongoing development of that head. Proper enthusiasm taken to the next level thanks to some serious skills.

Still not cheap, but significantly less than the TC24.
