I’ve been asked twice in the last couple of months if it’s allowed to drive rallies with 15”wheels. My answer was; “in order to drive rallies with 15 inch wheels you have to convince the FIA; ‘the old works were driven with 15”as well’. “
And that’s the tricky point, there’s hardly evidence of existence they sometimes did?!
Couldn’t find anything in the homologation papers = is this final then or can we find one photograph, one phrase?
Big question; does anybody know if the works cars had once in their life 15“ wheels put on. Reason of driving 15”, is more tyre choices.
