Hi, anyone know or has a performance cam for sale for a 1980 280zx engine. Rebuilding mine to go into the C210 Skyline but have decided to go for carbs now. I gave a spare set of carbs for my 240Z, so will use these after re jetting. Want to get some extra power out of the l28e lump.

Same thing happened to my Abbott 9-5 turbo. It turned out to be a failed boost valve - the one that has 3 rubber pipes to it. I have also had the actuator stick open, keeping the waste gate open, and eventually changed it for an adjustable one.
Could be a boost pipe connection to the IC...
Managed to buy all the bits to make the cables myself. Really turned out well using steel rods and coiled outer cable. Just got loads of cable and s.steel rods left over to make loads of these up to the 4 various lengths. I had to buy a load to make up the one cable. Let me know if anyone...
