Very good.......still room for improvement though....
There was no Datsun garage in Hyde in the 70's. The only Datsun garage near there was Victoria garage in Duckinfield which was then sold in 1976 to Dastun UK. I should know as I worked for the owners and was in charge.
What a shame some people treat a new thread as an ideal opportunity to get personally involved and try and put over their strong view points , which the original poster probably does not want to know.
If someone knows the answer , can they not say? If they are sick to death of repeating things , can they not keep quiet? Why not be positive and try and be helpful ?
Do people come on here looking for fights and negativity ? Are forums not for helping and informing?
You attempt to find out a little info and suddenly your the centre of ridicule.
A couple of other sites I have been on , people could not be helpful enough.
Why are some others always ready for a fight??
Ahh four pages of,... nothing...
Over here, the issue isn't raised as 240Zs didn't arrive until mid/late 1971 so were all the same weight and all in standard Euro trim......except the rear lights - see elsewhere :

It won't help you but mine should finish at around 900kgs wet with a full roll-cage.
There are so many differences and variable unles two cars are eaxactly as they left the factory that the question here is too academic
A good case for the Moderator to delete this thread - meaningless trivia and needless bitching has taken over what was a genuine and interesting question.
