2007.
Zenith ( Z2 ) commences.
This will be filming in a kind of Video diary,or DVD-mag style.
I am planning on visiting locations, & Z happenings...in order to
collect material for Z2 . If anybody wants to come on board,
have you interviewing technique? or any other contribution?
I can film you, your car in the garage,at home,at shows etc as
long as you don't live in Siberia!
This is for the U.K ...anywhere else France USA
other places you can send material on: DVD or Mini DV format.

club mag and preview of the dvd in the same week. now that is what i cal being spoilt for choice. I have just finished watching the dvd and want to say a massive thanks to DJZ for the obvious hours of hard work that he has put in to making this happen. The result if the preview copy is to go by is going to be a fitting tribute to the Z club, the cars and the club members that have put this together.
Without spoiling it, I think dominique has to get the award 'for never say die and commitment to finishing an event' approach to driving.
Once again DJZ you have produced a dvd that you should be proud of. I am certainly proud to have been included in it. Cheers ben

Thank you.
Ben & Dee....The honour is mine, It is only ,whilst working on the DVD that I could fully appreciate what a fine car you have,& also the
100% PLUS that must go in pursuing such a rewarding passion.
The Car. The drivers. The owner's. better speak for themselves on film. 4 The Club. DJZ 60.

I have just finished watching a preview of it and I would like to reiterate what Ben has said, well done DJ! You have not only done yourself proud but all the ZClub members proud too.

Your hard work and efforts are very much appreciated, this must have taken a huge amount of your time to produce, choice of music and themes were spot on. The variety of cars shown sums up the Z Clubs motto, "one club, all the cars".

Thank You Mr G..
I very much appreciate your comments & also believe that:
'The Cars are the Stars' I have previously looked,& searched for any film
material featuring a wide cross section of DATSUN-NISSAN material.
I could not find anything that had a variety of model's & features & henceforth set out to cater for as many types as I possibly
could.
This is totally new to me,& I first approached this as a request for a ten minute promotional video...( this is included on dvd ) & since that 'summer of 2006' beginning, I have learnt, suffered, bettered & pushed
on to , where we are. DJZ 60.

& There's more...........

Hi Derek Thank You.
I feel a sense of achievement, reward, contentment & relief that it's almost ready to hand over. As scheduled for December the 1ST 2006.
Two Articles have been submitted, via E-mail...one for views & chit chat & one on the making. I am now in process of,somehow, sending
still's, pics to go with articles. I would overall like to Thank The full
segment of The Z Club,every dept,The magazine team,The committee &
all that are the Z club, even those that are'nt members. as long as you
pop in,turn up at events....That has to be a good thing.
I am fully out of steam..& once I get 'stills' etc sorted. I have to get stuff co-ordinated & ready for Zenith to be passed over top the Club Shop. THANK YOU ALL. DJZ 60.

I can see what you're trying to do here DJ, but some advice:

Create your document as a 300dpi CMYK, or the printer will just laugh at you.
DO NOT use web images (note the large red X) these will look abhorent when printed!
DO NOT squish images (see red arrows) they can come out with facets when printed.
DO NOT use black, use 100% K (the printer will complain and maybe charge extra otherwise!)

Hope thats helpful! :)

Hi Mark.
Thanks for your suggestions(appreciated) they are a little too late
as when I asked you about the upside down binder on your sleeve, along
with 2x 350z & the very large DVD text under Zenith. I did not get those
bits rectified & the dvd sleeve was grounded for quite a while.
I am going away,& running out of time,so as aforementioned I went & purchased adobe software & made my own sleeve.
I don't have previous printing experience, nor do I have previous
film making experience. I do,however have a deadline. I need action,if
something needs doing,do it.
I offered up your sleeve design, along with mine(reluctantly) & the
printer chose mine. He did'nt laugh at either. I have still left you in the credits & thank you for your help. Top Bloke! DJZ 60.

P.S That is the final sleeve,& I have recieved a batch from
the printers, without any of your observations.
