Whilst my car has the engine out, I’ve been wanting to change the bushes to solve the wandering feeling. I’ve heard S13 bushes will fit but found a set in the USA made by www.richochetpt.com part number N12.B-90 BLU. I had to measure mine as there is a thinner set. My old ones were in a state allowing the rack to move a few mm from side to side. I could see the clean mating surface were it had been wandering. Anyways, fitted these today and I’ve used a pry bar and the rack seems to be solid with no apparent movement. It will have to wait for my engine to be put back in for a road test. A little tip to avoid any movement is mark the rack prior to removing the old bushes. Old and new pictures attached.
