z31 ecu into 82 zxt

hey i have a 82 280zxt and i heard that a z31 ecu swap would give me power gains just wondering if it is true and if it is what other things do i need to upgrade to get the power out of it?

Hey Batman,

You heard correctly,that is a mod that you can do, not many people on this UK based site have experience with the 280ZX Turbo, as it wasnt available on these shores, so you may find what your looking for on www.hybridz.org or www.zcar.com.

Don't let that put you off coming here though, we are a friendly bunch (mostly) and most other aspects of Z ownership are catered for.
