Z Stand at Longleat

Ok folks September 27th and 28th there is a hillclimb in the grounds of Longleat house in wiltshire, with at least 2 Z's running. In previous years the organising club have had an area set aside in the paddock for car clubs to have a stand, strictly non trading, on the sunday. If there is enough interest I will approach the club to organise a Z club stand. Longleat has enough for all the family to do with the safari park(they do bus rides round it so the Z will be safe), kids play area, house, exhibitions, and fishing. Let me know by 1st of September if you are interested in attending. cheers ben

Thanks for the interest and offers of help. I have to make it clear that I will not be able to help with the stand or organization as I will be there with 2 cars to look after at the hillclimb. I will only be able to make the initial contact. ben

went to a hillclimb at Longleat to support Ben a few years back and really enjoyed the layed back attitude of the guys who were competing. Infack enen enjoyed it more than the time we went to Gursdon Down and were allowed a parade run on the Hill in our Zeds
lLonleat is one of the nicest speed events to go to IMHO
and one not to miss

I have it in my diary to pop down on the Sunday, if anyone needs a hand with anything be it changing a wheel or whatever let me know and I'll bring my overalls and boots too! If not I make a wicked cuppa.

Cheers

hi suzy. when i get the contact for the club i will pass it on to you if that is ok and then people can let you know if they are going to be there and what help they can give. there seem to be a few turning up so hopefully the stand should look good for the Z club. As far as hillclimbing goes the info on the sites you have listed will give you a idea of what goes on. For a full insite into what goes on try www.gurstondown.org that is the site for the hillclimb that we normally run at and it explains in detail how the event works. Look forward to seeing you soon ben and dee
