I'm surprised at some of the comments. Two months ago I bought a 280Z from Mathewsons and they couldn't have been more helpful. It was towards the end of lockdown so I phoned them, made an appointment to view and went down. Liked the car so registered to bid a for the auction at the end of that week. They talked me through everything and rang me on the Saturday for bidding. All very simple and I won at a price I considered to be very cheap!. I went down the following Monday to collect the car and they helped me load it. Then they rang the vendor and established he was happy to talk to me, which I then did and he was also very helpful. And the icing on the cake is that the car is as it was described, completely rust free.

I think the point is that they're not helping themselves, you'd probably have had more people bidding against you if they provided more information to people who can't take a look in person.
