Would you drive with steering bush gone???

Beautiful Sunday I don't get a chance to drive the car much. Yesterday I discovered the bush in the steering idle arm is gone. Could anything happen if I drive the car while waiting o the part. Thanks

I'm not sure what part that is - have you got a piccy?

I assume you mean on a 280ZX as I don't think any other Z has an idler arm. The two bushes are very cheap and not too hard to replace. Worn bushes will make steering vague and there will be some "dead" zone in the middle of the steering wheel range. Drive slow and don't make any sudden moves...
