The window winders are held on by a C clip. The Datsun clips are not robust so that your door handle might keep falling off . Some of you will know that you can go on ebay and get Citroen/Pugeot versions that do the job (£2.65 a pair). They are much stronger than the Datsun version. Oh joy. But try getting them off again.
After much faffing about, here's the technique. Take the black plastic top off the winder handle. You will see three holes. Go to the rearmost hole (at the big round end of the handle) and stick in a small flat bladed screwdriver. You need to move the screwdriver forward and down to catch behind the hidden clip. You then lever the screwdriver and clip backward so it releases its grip on the handle. It took me ages of faffing to find this technique. Posted up to save you tears.
