Which Fuel Sender do I need?

Hi all,

I need a new fuel sending unit for my 1976 280z. Build date 11/75.

But I'm confused.

Then Z-Services.eu do 2. But not the same 2 as Z Car Depot do.

Seems odd that the 76 280z is included with the 240z on the Z Car Depot one, but it's with the 77-79 280z on the Z Car Services one?

Does it depend on where the sender goes into the tank? Early ones are through the side, later ones through the top? Have a look in the boot. If there is a circular cover in the right hand hand back corner that is a top loader (later) I think.

That's what I thought. But the Z Services listings have confused me.

So if my sender comes out the side (pretty sure it does) then it's essentially the 240z one I can use? That would be good news from a price perspective!
