I got handbrake cable installed, I think isn't going to work and I'm waiting for the seller to get back to me with photo's I've sent.

I couldn't get the technoversions diff mount in place, I think it's either twisted or my trans tunnel is at fault. So I've resorted to putting my old insulating mount and strap back in place.

Attached my prop shaft to the diff again and put the forward diff mount bar in place.

I've had an absolute nightmare with the handbrake cable and because of the technoversions not working for me, I'm in the market for a new diff mount insulator and 240z handbrake cable.

Also my weatherstrip kit, skillard front grill and clear front lamp units have turned up from the US via robotsan. Door cards to follow - exciting having more bits to put on.

Plan is to put weatherstrip on when I get the car resprayed. Need to update my build thread !

Finally got round to swapping my fuel pump and filter for new ones. I order them up and they were delivered a couple of weeks ago. The old replacement pump (pictured below) had a whine a few weeks back. I did drive the car a couple times after that and although it wasn't whining, it was not running smoothly. So, thought I better get on with swapping it. No point in playing 'fuel pump roulette', once they start to go, they can fail anytime.

Anyway, it took waaaaay longer than it should have (as usual), but it's sorted, running better and no leaks - so far. I gave myself a splitting headache in the process from the petrol fumes. The old fuel filter was full of rusty coloured fuel, so I will be changing it more regularly from now on.

'Top tip': I cut out and keep the product code numbers from all the spare part packaging I buy. It makes it easy to reorder from ebay or online (sadly not from Mike Feeney).

Hi Huw, here you go... I got them off ebay. It came in at about £120 for both delivered.
