As Johny and Jon say, the front compression rod mounts and the rear outer corners of the floor are probably the best. You can also put the front ones at the point where the underfloor rails join the front frame rails (the most substantial section of the rails) if they won't reach the compression rod mounts. Don't lift on the underfloor rails any further back - you'll cave your floors in!

The folded up grey thing is a Carcoon I picked up for a really good price on eBay. Red Z will be going in it once relocated to the barn workshop.

My head stands arrived. Could’ve done with these when doing the port work. Puts it at a good height for sitting and working.

Need to get back on with this now my physio issues are improving.

    Cheers dude, will do EXTRA:D

You'll be pleased to know I got the easy one out of the way today and passed MOD 1. I just need to get MOD 2 done without doing anything silly next week!

Loving being out on a big bike though, the sense of power and speed is amazing :coolgleam:

Hi Mike, a slight kiss of a tyre barrier in September ended the season early for the girls. I thought it was just fibreglass damage apart from the rad but when looking further could not get the wings to sit on the car properly. Then noticed the bow in the n/s chassis leg.
Borrowed the jig from a friend and then found out how much the front has been out of line. At some stage before I owned the car the o/s engine panel has been replaced and welded on in the wrong place so I have removed it and am now putting it back on correctly. New chassis rails fabricated and will be welded in today hopefully if I get off my backside.
This was my trade when I left school but it is about 25 years since I used this jig. Making my brain hurt trying to remember

4.44 Torsen LSD R180 for not a lot of money , there still out there if you keep your eyes peeled

I also made a big Titanium bolt to hold in the drive shafts on the R160 LSD that's in the car now , if the bloody snap ring decides to fail again ,

I got and fitted my finished front strut brace, I think it looks good. I also finished adding a 'proper' Molex 48 pin plug and socket to my Speeduino which will make the upgrade to ITB/EFI easier.

It is, and quite effective - I went for a run with it on and it really highlighted my lack of damping at the front. So I've ordered some adjustable Konis from the zstore. Should be here in a week or so.

An enforced early Christmas present to myself, to avoid any post Brexit induced price or carriage increases, atleast that's what i told the missus!

So arrived today, courtesy of Mr Dezart, i doubt very much it will get any where near the car until next spring unfortunately, but even in the box it is a thing of beauty :D
