After the above year of hell I'm finally getting rid of this thing that I bought to replace the Datsun.

Not only has it been nothing but trouble costing me over 3k in repairs in the last year it's cursed lol, It occurred to me it's exactly the same car I owned last time I got divorced 20 years ago and now it's happened again :(.

It's my only car at the moment so I've bought this to run around it.

And I'm having this rebuilt and modified to my own spec as the moment.

So life goes on I'm just never getting married again I've had enough now, And to cap it off I was 50 yesterday so I'm doubly depressed lol.

Rob, you love your Pulsar's don't you!

However you have told us that you are a big guy so how does that work?

A 240/260/280ZX is far more suitable. However what's suitable and what's wanted are not always the same thing.

Good to hear from you.

I've owned two Pulsar's Rob and they're quite big inside definitely bigger than my 260Z that's for sure, Plus living in Scotland the 4wd will come in handy during the winter months, This car is being completely stripped underneath and they're going to start again with a clean sheets regarding the rust treatment and paintwork, So it will be very durable all year round.

Once it's done I'll post some pictures up once it's done I think you might be quite suppressed how much work has gone in to building it.

I'm planning on building a super charged MK2 golf as well as my own project, I've decided I'm a 80's/90's child when it comes to cars.

has the Saab gone? It looks lovely.

I've taken a deposit on it from a guy in Torquay lol, You couldn't get much further away from me. That photo was taken the last time I washed it about 6 months ago , It's not quite so clean now. Mind you it got a good wash the other day when it rained.

You know after spending over 3k it repairing over the last year it's actually a good car these days.

I've had the head rebuilt and new gasket when it failed on the way home from picking it up. So my ownership started off on the wrong foot!

Brand new stuff >

Radiator
Expansion tank
battery X 2
B6 shocks
JT 3" exhaust
calipers X 4
Disc's X 4
set of pads
brake pipes
windscreen
window motor and quadrant
indicator stalk
genuine Saab clutch
release bearing
slave cylinder
K&N induction kit
8MM leads

It really needs stripping down an repainting especially the engine bay where the heat from the turbo has taken it's toll on the nearside inner wing.

That's why I'm being very careful with this build mate, It will look completely standard just a bit better built, I'm keeping the standard top mount though I've had it re-cored with a WRC spec core, Standard ported cast manifold but it's being ceramic coated, I even want to keep the standard airbox/air con.

All the hoses are being replaced with Samco classic matt black so no daft blue bling.

I'm am having all the susp components powder coated charcoal grey though and I'm adding some under floor splash guards as per Saab C900's.

The idea is not to have yet another over modified chav waggon like most Pulsars.
