After a LOT of messing about it seems that the shop db may have slightly corrupted, as when you view that the server starts dropping connections!!

For now I'll disable the shop and hopefully return some stability to the site.

Thanks for the feedback, hard being sure if you've fixed something yourself After 30 mins of the 'fix' I spotted it myself as well though, the database logs don't point to anything, we'll get there

glowhost are working on the problem

why dont we take down all the add ins gallery etc untill it is fixed and leave the forum running as it keep effing up must be causing new users deciding never to come back and this will result in a drop in members in the long run

Still affecting me too - pain in the butt and I lose what I've written as a reply (well, I now copy and paste to overcome that but it's cumbersome).

Good luck guys. Maybe reducing the call upon the database temporarily will help.

Sometimes with these things when you've checked every possible reason why it won't work then you have to start looking at the impossible reasons (if you see what I mean!)

Apologies it took so long, was fiddly, every time I made a change it was ok for a bit and then died by the time I had chance to check again later. That and the hosts who were helping went off on a wild goose chase mid way
