    All I know is, it's not a 240/260. Give us a clue.;)

Its the button which is actuated by pulling the indicator towards the driver

Pretty sure its off a 260z, if not it bolts in rather nicely anyway :)

    That is the dipswitch.

Many thanks Rob, the proper name was eluding me today.

I assume it a single pole double throw which switches ground to high or low beam, more than happy to be corrected. Thanks

As Rob said you pull the stalk towards you to turn on the main beam and pull it again to turn it off. The flasher is the small button at the end of that stalk. Which bit doesn't work on yours?

Thanks for the replies,it is the main beam switch (red arrow in my picture) which is stuck in a single position.

The car was using the steering column from a supra which I have swapped out for a 260 column and I am trying to rewire the controls. I can adapt a different SPDT latching switch but would prefer to use a standard part and save some effort.

If anyone has a replacement part or steering loom going spare please let me know
