This is a very common request, what's your budget? For a RHD 240z in the UK you'll be looking at £15k+ for a pretty rusty one that still needs £15-20k of work.

Hi pal, from previous searching which I know isn't much to go on, the above prices which you've started. I appreciate a mint one isn't going to go for £15k. Is be interested to see what's around in the UK for sale.

'Running' isn't the issue.

Think you might struggle to find a UK car full stop. They are a rare car and it must be getting to the point that anything worth restoring has been done. There may be a few tucked away that will turn up as barn finds but they will be like rocking hose shit. In my humble opinion to get a U.K. 240 in a decent and running condition you need to be looking at £20,000 plus mark perhaps even 25 perhaps.
https://zclub.net/community/index.php?threads/here-we-go-again-derricks-260z-restoration.19846/ I’m sure Derrick won’t mind me saying this is a fairly good example of what a low end budget U.K. car might get you.

Even the US market cars have there own problems can’t find the thread but a chap has just found after media blasting his shell it’s kind of two cars.

I am sure I have read (maybe on here) there were approximately 1450 RHD 240s imported to the UK (not sure if that includes 260s) ...

How many are still about? 10%? More?

They are pretty rare as you can see (they were pretty rare back in the day).

Most of the rise in recent years will be LHD imports.

When I ran the member database there were about 80 240Z and 40 260Z (incl 2+2) belonging to Full members who gave us the info.

Don't mind at all you saying this is a fairly good example of a low end budget U.K car you are 100% correct my car wasn't to rusty but the previous repairs were shocking .:EXTRAeek::rofl:

So its not just RUST you need to be aware of but bodged repairs too ,I new had a good idea what i was buying and the price was right yes more work than i was expecting but some of it is due to how i what it to be when finished, also enjoy the challenges :conf2:

Totally agree with everyones comments you need more to spend unless your prepared to do a lot of work yourself .

Good luck with your search :)
