Tyres, mxv3-A?

I've just got a couple of brackets to finish, then wheels will be painted so i'm on the hunt for tyres.

I like the 'look' and use of these.

Anyone used them or similar? They might be too much money for me though, however its likely they'll last a good while!

Franky just chuck some old remoulds on because new tyres will be well past their best by the time you drive it.

That is meant to be a serious reply by the way but perhaps not the remould bit.

According to the German BRV any tyres stored properly can be classed as new for 5 years.

max guidelines say 10 years for tyres that aren't left in the Sun.

So Given my time scales, I think we're both very safe.

Yes that's my top priority. I guess you read the design use?

Just to add, that’s 10 years of ‘use’, which they classify as on the Rim.

It’s UV and temp extremes which seem to speed up degradation, not something to worry about.

I fitted Michelin ENERGY SAVER+ 195/70 R14 91 T

The only issue I have is that the spare is just a little too wide for the hardboard cover to fit perfectly so I'll probably change the spare for a 65 rather than a 70.

If the tyre sticks up in the wheel well shouldn't you reduce the section not the profile?

Hi Rob, yeah I'm sure your right just showing my ignorance of tyres, I was thinking the "70" was the tyre width not the 195 . Duh.....
