Trying to source map light thingy

I think my map light is meant to have a pull down plastic thing that switches the map light on and off and tidies up the light in its metal surround. Is this correct?

Any ideas on where I can source one from? Cheers and thanks

Gary, your light works as intended (push-up) but it appears to be sunken into the dash a bit further than intended. There is no plastic pull-down bit.

I'll have a look next time we meet.

Thanks Rob. The car at yesterday's auction had the plastic thingy, so thought that might be mine. I've seen a few different designs. I'll have a look at how mine's mounted. But the car is now at the paint shop.

I think your cars too early to have the pull down bit you refer to. That was on the latter cars (260).
