I feel I ought to let you all know, that Martin Coe, whose Black 300Zx z31 won the "highly commended" award at Billing this year, has been seriously injured and his friend killed, when the car left the road in the early hours of last friday.
Neil300zx told me about this last week, but it has only now been confirmed in the local press....

"A family man from Southam has been killed in a car crash near Stockton.

Stephen O'Keefe of Banbury Road, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the A426 Rugby Road at 4.45am on Friday, September 10.The black Nissan 300 sports car he was driving had lost control on a right-hand bend before Stockton crossroads, left the road and overturned.

His passenger a 37 year old man from Long Itchington, is still in intensive care at Coventry and Warwickshire hospital."

It would appear that Martin's friend, who was apparently interested in buying the car, was driving at the time.I know that road well and it is a fast and potentially very dangerous road!
I'm sure that we all send our condolences to the families involved and hope that Martin makes a quick recovery.
JEZ.
