The New Top Gear

Very poor, it's 50/50 if I watch next week, Evans was terrible, Matt Le Blanc I'll give a second chance to. The item with Sabine was frankly embarrassing.

Needs to improve.........quickly !

Sabine has no sense of humour and should play it straight - geographically handicapped already, she makes no effort.

Chris was pretty bad and came across like he was really really trying to be Clarkson. He needs to play himself. Matt was good and made me laugh. The show was very much in the flavour of the last season of top gear. Very scripted and not very believable.

Nail on head it was Chris trying to be Clarkson that really got my goat.

Doubt if it will make it back now in the same format, it's clearly had it day.

That's it though - change the presenters - change the format - the Beeb need to be imaginative now and work WITH some new presenters and their ideas !

I haven't watched it for years as it doesn't feature cars in which I have any interest ... National Geographic fulfils my habit much better.

Everything in life can be improved. The format of TG now is not what is was in the past, so it just needs to modernise once again. There must be so much they can do with it if they engage their imaginations, presenters and audience. IF they have the will to do that .. the format was already withering in the last couple of years of Clarkson et al and it will continue along that path without reinvention

Yep, already stale under the shadow of Clarkson at the end leading them to do sillier and sillier things. A ssaid, a bit of imagination required to save the show and their investment/sales.
