Good to finally meet you Jonathan, its all sounding very positive.

If anyone wants a room in the hotel get in quick, they are going fast.

OK, just an update as I have a bit of free time now. I have been in touch with a local company about toilets and POWER showers. These are available and having seen them at many local events are of a high standard.

JK and I will be popping in to see the owner of the Heaves in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime keep the names coming and post up any more questions you have.

Hi Guys,

I just called in at the Heaves hotel this afternoon, as we had had a query about accomodation and whether or not it was booked or still available, so here is what is left as of 2.30 this afternoon.

There are only 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms for the Friday and Saturday night, that's it, so if you want to stay in the hotel itself it might be an idea to book it sooner rather than later. They are a kind of old fashioned hotel though, no fancy technology here just a diary and a pen, so if you don't receive email notification of your reservation don't be too surprised, but its a fabulous location for a meet, the grounds are lovely.

Obviously there will be plenty of room for campers on site and there is a Travelodge Travelodge - Hotel overview just around the corner, and Kendal has several nice hotels and a few B&B's so there are plenty of alternatives should you find the hotel is booked up.

If anyone has any questions or wants any help with where to stay, please feel free to give me or Martin Mac a shout.

Looking forward to next summer already...

Jonathan.

will do, brought a lovely 3dr cosworth and blew it to bits last weekend, oh the joy!:(

Oh dear Fords eh!!

I am trying to get my wife out of her Fiesta ST (which I hate) and into a 30,000 mile 1989 RS Turbo, which I reckon might be the next mover in the old ford world (the good ones anyway), but she's not having it...

Thats the Turkey out of the way so lets get the list of names growing again. Remember, even if you dont have the car up and running this is a social weekend and a chance to enjoy the Lakes.
