What a great day out. Weather was very kind to us and the company was great. Do I not get an award for getting lost the most? :) started they day by going to the wrong grasshopper pub (although it was only half mile away) and my satnav took my the the final location 24 miles from where I was supposed to be!! Got there in the end though and definitely up for the next one.

Thank you for organising it.

Fantastic day out in the car, excellent company and food, and some sections of road were sublime :D

I like to think the 'wheel spin' was more of a 'calculated power slide to avoid curb while on full lock'!

Kudos for organising Ali

Many thanks for organising a great "retro" day out. Memories of old Z Club meets in convoys of 20+ cars doing London to South Coast.
Looking forward to the next one.
Have added you to the SEKZ messaging list so you will get notifications of our regular meets up here in Essex.

Looks like a cracking day out and great weather for it!

Gutted I couldn't join you however it wasn't meant to be as the engine is still in pieces even if I had been available. I'll keep a look out for the next one as I'd definitely be up for joining assuming I'm around. Chances are the Z will be in the car park over the road for Goodwood's Softop Sunday next weekend.

Mike any chance you could add me onto that list as well? I've been meaning to try and get to one of these meets and it would be great to be kept up to date as to when they're happening. Thanks.

Looks like a super day out. Maybe I'll try to join you for the next one and visit my mum while I'm there.

That would be fantastic Jon, hope the stars align next time and we get the pleasure of your company.

Pleasure all mine big guy, great to meet you at last. Love the plate on that Z of yours! What a fab idea for a meet, we have to do a London to the coast at some point!

I will notify the Police to stay legal next time - per your suggestion! ;)

Thanks for the "add" to SEK, appreciate it.

Please send my warmest to Michelle - a pleasure to meet her too and very please we managed to get her the ice creme in the nick of time :D

Sounds like a good meet guys - I've been decorating for the last 3 weeks.

Anyway great picture of John looking at the dinners with envy - on a diet John?

Feel your DIY pain Rob, but at least it was a nice day for it. Johny displayed some soldierly self restraint in the presence of that amazing carvery menu.

Genuinely my pleasure dude. I was trying to get you to the M25 Jct and was going to pull over to say goodbye but you disappeared at the Biggin Hill turn off. I did go back to look for you in case you were pulling doughnuts ;)

Most welcome Mr MD always a pleasure to be in your excellent company.

I would have felt guilty giving you that award especially as I feel partially responsible. Although I do buy the theory that you just wanted to get some extra miles in as you were enjoying those yummy looking throttle bodies!

Woody- looking forward to meeting you buddy - hope your plans to get the car back together go well.

Hopefully Shine Vader (Huw) can also join us and show off his bright work - and his Z's :p

I will consult the Chief of Staff (my wife and the queen of the family diary) to find a day in July or August for another blast.

Lol, sorry my fault, i should of made it clearer that with the route back to Westerham its far easier for me to go straight through to Biggin Hill than to go right towards Sevenoaks and the M25 etc.

I did wonder why you went right at Westerham, assumed you had an errand to run!! :D

No probs! I figured as much. It gave me a good excuse to go tearing back up that lovely (albeit wet) road again to Crockham Hill and have a cup of tea at my parents. ;)

Thanks for organising the event and the best Orange z award. Sorry to have bailed early I was able to make my flight in time.
Still have the taste of burnt 20w50 in my lungs. next time I wont follow you so closely, although if I hadn't I feel sure I would have lost you.
Great drive and great company met some real Zclub royalty in person. With all that hard driving the Car developed a strange clunk in the rear when accelerating and decelerating.

must do it again soon Tim

You're most welcome Tim, we did miss you at lunch - and next time I will defo take it easier. BTW, I went out the other day and tested the diversion road that I missed and ohhhh myyyy Gwaaad! It's a great road and added to my regular Z blasting route now. Totally recommended especially as you're just up the road from it.

Johny is right, my clonk was that diff mount nut too.
