Strange clutch goings on.

Car’s been sitting a good 9 months. (280 with 5speed Nissan thingy box)

jumped in and clutch pedal was loose like it wasn’t connected. Second go and it was back and working.

Drove it, broke down 3 times in the 20 miles home (another story)

This morning the clutch pedal is light and working but low down.
Plenty of fluid.
What do we think? Slave?

I'd be checking the slave cylinder first of all. For it to be intermittent like that suggests it could be at fault.

agree with Geoff, sounds like the slave cylinder is leaking

Agreed. No loss of fluid though.

oh well I’ll find out when it gives up completely
