Steering Column U Joints

I am trying to replace the steering column U joints in my 1972 240z. I cant see any circlips to remove akin to normal ish U joints.

Has anyone removed these before? Are they the heat with a blow gun and press out type.

Appreciate any guidance........

Never had to do them , I think they are staked joints , have you got The new ones yet?

You're right Tel, they are staked in.

I have ordered new ones that have the clips on the inside face, found a part name on Hybrid Z that supposedly fits (motormaster ATV700). Will wait until they arrive then have a go.

I am expecting to have to use heat but maybe able to just use the vice to push the old ones out.
