We’re on the 6.20 too.
Don’t want to miss anything !
Yep me too, although I think driving up for that time in the morning is a little too early so might need to find somewhere near the tunnel that’s safe leaving the car overnight if anyone has any recommendations?

Come on guys, we need stories and pics. I love the Spa Classic. I've seen video on youtube - there doesn't appear to be many spectators.

Paradise for me!

Big changes since I was there - old grandstands removed and track run-off provided.

At least 3 new grandstands too. The track is great to drive on, but too hard to learn for me in 20 minutes. I'm thinking of going back for a whole track day.

I found it easy to learn because of the elevation changes and landmarks. The worst for me has been Rockingham especially the flat infield. I never knew where I was.

I was last at Spa in 1996 (with old bus stop layout) racing my MG. Half hour practice then half hour race. It was only when I got home did I fully realise where I was on track and why some corners I never got right🥴

Wow that does surprise me. All the corners are different.

Before I go on track I need to have a diagram of the circuit in my mind. Then as I'm driving I can predict the corners and know where I am.

Years as a navigator probably helped.

Could you draw the circuit without any help? If not you are 'driving on site' or remembering just parts from previous laps.

Circuit Days run track days over two consecutive days. I've twice been over for 4 day mini breaks, where we hire a b&b and also take in the Ring which isn't too far away. With two days of open pit lane you get plenty of time on track :)
