The company I worked for sponsored the Nissan TC team, I got to see my first GTR in their garage. I gave the 3D model of the chassis and engine layout to the UK Primera club back in 2008 for this car. the gearbox is upside down to get lower COG compared to a street car

Our long-time member Dave Jarman and well known S30 'builder' raced a Primera (Ex David Leslie?). He runs DJR (Dave Jarman Racing).

Yes the configuration of the engine and gearbox is a marvel - he showed me. The steering column had to be rerouted significantly as a consequence.

We supplied the CAD software to them. When they closed they gave me their datasets, I can only find one 3D file now annoyingly

I had several tours where they have shown me how they bent the rules back in the day. It was great talking to them

seen the cars a few times. I have pictures of the red one outside the Nissan garage, I will dig them out
