I know. Hence my reply.

There's plenty of interest in RB-series engines and related parts here. The vendor is a member of the forum and of the club. I can think of one forum member who put an RB-series engine in an S30-series chassis nearly 30 years ago. We get it.
Well when you put it like that am not sure if I do....... get it.

That’s a fantastic story, and I hope it gets an identity worthy of it’s history so far.

Stick it on BAT after trying best you can to work through some of its history.

The BSR connection, the fact its an unused shell, you'll be onto a winner. They'd pay for the nostalgia in the US. Same as if you had a samuri in the US, like big sam or similar, it'd be better sold in the continent where the romantic connection is.

I’ve had a look at this and the fees are quite low, you can set a reserve etc.

BaT’s an interesting one as the reserve is set at an agreed level by the seller and BaT. Obviously so the chances of a sale are good and the reserve is set at a reasonable level. Saccy has sold a 240z on BaT I believe so might chime in if he sees this.

Yeah, I think it'd do well as its the right market for it, thats why I put you'd only really sell one of the big name samuri cars in the UK market as you need to be where the connections are.

Hi every one and thanks for all the positive comments. I've been busy the last week few days preparing the rear of my 1970 240Z for primer and a base coat after a stripping it to bare metal and completing some minor accident damage repairs and replacing the corroded hatch plinth and bottom doglegs. I completed the front and engine bay last year and once I get the front and rear suspension and axles back on next spring it will go to the paint shop for the final coats in the original orange - you either love it or hate it but I'm a big fan!

Regarding the 260Z shell on Ebay. Yes, in hind-sight a BSR tribute car would have been a better route to go down especially in terms of future saleability. If it doesn't sell then I will certainly consider writing-off the money that I've already spent and selling on the Skyline conversion parts and reverting to an S30 power-plant instead.

You have done a great job on this and would like to see it again once painted. Love the orange :)
