Your missing the point, the forum/club benefits from funds if a member or not purchases one, club loses if they refuse to sell to non members,a pound in the pocket is better than 50 p in the pocket, simple maths really

Paul, we won't be selling anything at a profit so you're missing the point.

I believe there is a issue with the inland revenue with selling to non members and also when I got the club exempt from them after years of arguing it was on the agreement that we would not make an excessive profit each year
Also I believe the idea is to sell them at cost ie no profit which to a few of the members who need them is a way of saying thank you for being a member

That’s a brill idea club members get them at cost and non members get changed double. I’ll back that.

Turn,if you ring me I’ll go through the measurements as I go round the car,let me know the depth of your manifold as you might have one of those mentioned by Richiep which should be fine it’s just a pain if you have to get the batter out I’m about all weekend if any good to yer
Really appreciate the offer, I’m dropping the motor in on Sunday so I’ll be able to measure up on mine assuming all goes well.
From speaking to Efi hardware 125mm is as deep as I can go with Jenvey ITBs on my Harada manifold. Some of the smaller single ITBs are shorter and allow a 160mm airbox.
I’ve spoken to Emerald ECU (Dave Walker) who I believe did the original tuning on the car with this airbox design (somebody mentioned it in an earlier post). I should still be able to run a 90mm stack in a 125mm deep box with no issues, I was concerned about reflections and having to shorten the stacks too much.

Not so Paul. These are not being sold for profit therefore the club will see not benefit from selling or not selling. It’s for the benefit of the members and only members will get this benefit.

I never did make any mention of profit jon just some scarcastic remarks thrown in for good measure by a couple of bods on here as usual but that’s part of the fun I said funds which is not the same and like others have said already it does members a turn
There will probably be some other moulds that would be worth keeping and like I said if you do need a van and man gis a shout

Think £200 was mentioned somewhere but I have been wrong before, back in the day
That was in Sean post regarding ones from FRP in an earlier post
Don't think any cost of the ones the club is hoping to do has been mentioned and sure soon as John has got it and informed the committee It will be announced

IIRC I had a quote of £225+ carriage from MrF.

Also there was the ducting and air filter to go with it to consider. Does anyone remember / know what air filter he used to supply with it / works with it?
